Searching for What’s Next at KITI

Next week, we’re packing our backpacks and heading out for two full days at market on the hunt for pieces that will shape the next chapter of KITI.

If you’ve ever wondered how new products make their way onto our shelves, this is where it all begins. Not with trends for trend’s sake, but with slow wandering, careful looking, and a lot of instinct. We spend hours touching materials, talking to makers, and imagining how each piece might live in your home or become part of a gift you’re excited to give.

This season is all about finding things that feel fresh but still grounded in what KITI does best: thoughtful, beautiful objects that elevate the everyday.

We’re especially drawn to jewelry this season. Things like cuffs you can slip on without overthinking, stackable rings you’ll never want to take off, and a few statement pieces that do all the talking. Tassels keep catching our eye too-those playful, textural details that move with you and add a touch of fun.

For the home, we’re following our noses. Interesting aromas are high on the list, the kind that change the mood of a room without feeling overpowering. Alongside that, we’re searching for new ritual elements. Think incense, sculptural holders, and crystal-inspired pieces that invite you to slow down, even if only for a few minutes.

Candles are also calling us, especially those poured into fun, slightly unexpected vessels. The kind you’ll want to keep and reuse long after the candle has burned through, because beauty shouldn’t be disposable.

With warmer days ahead (we hope!), we’re also keeping an eye out for summer accessories that feel effortless and wearable, whether you’re in the city or packing for a weekend away. And, of course, we’re always thinking about gifting. Every market trip is guided by the question: would this make someone feel truly seen when they open it?

These two days are long, inspiring, and a little exhausting—but they’re one of our favorite parts of running KITI. They’re how we make sure what you find at KITI isn’t everywhere else, and why each new arrival feels considered, not rushed.

We can’t wait to share these finds with your in person at pop-ups or through our webshop. This next chapter is already taking shape, with pieces designed to be lived with, gifted, and kept.
